An Atheist Scoffed at Mama Church and I Wrote This

These are atheistic fanatics, scoffers. What they do primarily is mocking at the faith. They have been there from the earliest times of our Church (AD34) [Read Acts. II: 13 which says --But others mocking said, “They are filled with new wine.”] and they will be. They are completely drawn to the conviction that they know better and have something worthier than all us. In reality, they don’t have a thing. For us, the most important thing in humanity is the grace of eternal life. For them all well finishes here on earth.

For us, all the life we have got in this earth is just a temporal hurly burly – the grandest of our missions being, instead the Kingdom of Christ and eternal salvation. However, for these people (a bunch of atheistic freaks) it’s the other way around. The best of their wisdom is way lesser of a standard than the lamest of ours – the wisdom of God. I mean, literally, his knowledge of law, philosophy and jurisprudence all into their logical depth has made him think that that’s what life is all about. And this thing makes them dormant, unmindful and negligent about something more precious and something more relevant to our humanity – i.e. eternal life and eternal wisdom - essentially - “knowing God”. As St. Paul said in his epistle to the Corinthians:

“hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1st Cor. XII: 20 and ff.

But, do you know that the wisdom of God (Christ’s Gospel) says “That whosoever is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment: (by danger of judgment, our Lord means a ‘death penalty – Matt.V: 22 because that’s what they do back in the old, kill a person who kills another and he’s making reference to that when he says ‘… but i say unto you whosoever is angry…’ And our Lord keeps speaking and says) and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council (the same).” So you see here Christ is saying death penalty is due for anyone who’s angry and mad on another. If you call another person “Cherqam!” that’s what shall be due. Worse, He continues to say “… but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, [now this is of an even more thrilling penalty where he …] shall be in danger of hell fire.” I hope any sane person would prefer his eyes to be plucked than to be thrown to hell fire, that’s awkward.

Now, we can continue reading through the Bible for things that may possibly impress these people even more, but stop and take a look at what these scoffing “foolish people in flesh” say about the Fetha Negest and how they mock it then try to imagine what they would do about the Gospel passages (or our Lord Jesus Himself for that matter) and how they would tend to mock him too. These are still people who think in the ‘big bang theory’ that thinks their earliest parents were grass-grazing and tree-climbing apes. Who’s to be mocked at here? One who has faith in the ever-loving God who is manifest in everything that’s created, who is essentially the Father of creations and the source of all fatherhood, or one who calls poor little chimps as ultimate dads and moms!? Now that’s what I call the best of all ‘foolish’!

If anyone wants to mock at me, I will receive it gladly, with a complete joy, because that’s in the essence of my faith, my Christianity. Christians are to be mocked at by this foolish world, because what they have the wisdom of God is foolishness to this world. So I deserve the best of insults and mocks and that’s how I will be raised above. But if anyone wants to mock Jesus, the Christ, then I called them stupid.

Read what St. Peter says about these “Knowing this first of all, that scoffers w.i.l.l. c.o.m.e. i.n. t.h.e. l.a.s.t. d.a.y.s. with scoffing, following t.h.e.i.r. o.w.n. s.i.n.f.u.l desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.” – 2 Peter III: 3-7

Do not be disappointed for they don't listen to you because "A scoffer does not like to be reproved; he will not go to the wise." Proverbs XV: 12

God bless!
